    CartBuildr cares a lot about your privacy. Therefore, we only process information that we need for (the improvement of) our services and we handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your information available to third parties for commercial purposes.

    This privacy policy applies to the use of the web site and the services provided by CartBuildr. The effective date for the validity of these terms and conditions is 16/11/2020, with the publication of a new version, the validity of all previous versions will expire. This privacy policy describes what information is collected about you by us, what this information is used for and with whom and under what conditions, if any, this information can be shared with third parties. We also explain to you how we store your data and how we protect your data against misuse and what rights you have with regard to the personal data you provide to us.

    Webshop software

    MyWebshop

    Our web store is developed with software from WooCommerce. An open source webstore package based on wordpress.

    Web hosting

    Hetzner

    Hetzner is a VPS service.

    Emails via Neostrada

    We use the services of Hetzner for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Hetzner does not have access to our inbox and we treat all our e-mail traffic as confidential.

    Payment processors

    Mollie

    For handling (part of) the payments in our webshop we use the platform of Mollie. Mollie processes your name, address and place of residence and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share (anonymized) data with third parties in this context. All of the above guarantees with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie’s services for which they engage third parties. Mollie does not retain your data longer than permitted by law.

    PayPal

    For handling (part of) the payments in our webshop we use the platform of PayPal. PayPal processes your name, address and place of residence and your payment information such as your bank account or credit card number. PayPal has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. PayPal reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share (anonymized) data with third parties as part of this process. PayPal shares personal data and information relating to your financial position with credit rating agencies in the event of an application for a deferred payment (credit facility). All of the above safeguards relating to the protection of your personal data also apply to the components of PayPal’s services for which they engage third parties. PayPal does not retain your information longer than is permitted by law.

    Shipping and logistics

    PostNL

    If you place an order with us it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence information with PostNL. PostNL uses this information only for the purpose of carrying out the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your information available to these parties.

    DHL

    If you place an order with us it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of DHL to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence data with DHL. DHL uses these data only for the execution of the agreement. In case DHL engages subcontractors, DHL will also make your data available to these parties.

    GLS

    If you place an order with us it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of GLS to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence data with GLS. GLS uses these data only for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that GLS engages subcontractors, GLS will also make your data available to these parties.

    UPS

    If you place an order with us it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of UPS to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence data with UPS. UPS uses these data only for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that UPS engages subcontractors, UPS will also make your data available to these parties.

    Invoicing and accounting

    SilvaSoft

    For keeping our administration and bookkeeping we use the services of Silvasoft. We share your name, address and residence details as well as details regarding your order. These details are used for the administration of sales invoices. Your personal data will be sent and stored in a protected manner. Silvasoft is committed to confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. Silvasoft will not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

    Data processing purpose

    General purpose of processing

    We use your data exclusively for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the order you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data – other than at your request – to contact you at a later time, we ask your explicit permission to do so. Your data will not be shared with third parties, other than to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to secrecy on the basis of the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.

    Automatically collected data

    Data that are automatically collected by our website are processed with the aim of further improving our services. These data (e.g. your IP address, web browser and operating system) are not personal data.

    Cooperation with tax and criminal investigation

    In certain cases, CartBuildr may be required by law to share your data in connection with governmental tax or criminal investigations. In such a case we will be forced to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities offered to us by law.

    Retention periods

    We keep your data as long as you are our client. This means that we will keep your customer profile until you are our client.

    indicates that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also take this as a forgetting request. On the basis of applicable administrative obligations, we must keep invoices with your (personal) data, this data will be kept for as long as the applicable period runs. Employees, however, no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced in response to your order.

    Your rights

    Pursuant to applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights with respect to the personal data processed by us or on our behalf. We explain below which rights these are and how you can invoke these rights. In principle, in order to prevent misuse, we only send copies and copies of your data to your e-mail address already known to us. In the event that you wish to receive the data at a different e-mail address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep records of processed requests; in the event of a forgetting request, we administer anonymised data. You will receive all statements and copies of data in the machine-readable data format that we use within our systems. You have the right at any time to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Authority if you suspect that we are using your personal data in a wrong way.

You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data with an overview of the processors who have this data in their possession, stating the category under which we have stored this data, at the e-mail address known to us.

    Rectification right

    You have the right at all times to have the data that we process (or have processed) and that relate to your person or that can be traced back to you. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation that the data has been adjusted at the e-mail address we have at our disposal.

    Right to limitation of processing

    You have the right at all times to limit the data that we process (or have processed) relating to your person or that can be traced back to you. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation at the e-mail address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.

    Duty on portability

    You have the right at all times to have the data that we process (or have processed) and that relate to your person or that can be traced back to you, executed by another party. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies or copies of all data about you that we have processed or that have been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties at the e-mail address known to us. In such a case, we will most likely no longer be able to continue to provide the service, because the secure linking of data files can then no longer be guaranteed.

    Right of objection and other rights

    You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of CartBuildr. If you object, we will immediately stop the data processing pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will make copies and/or copies of the data that we process (or have processed) available to you and discontinue the processing on a permanent basis thereafter. You also have the right not to be subjected to automated individual decision making or profiling. We will not process your data in such a way that this right applies.     Google Analytics

    Through our website, cookies are placed by the U.S. company Google, as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to keep track of and get reports on how visitors use the website.

    This processor may be required by applicable laws and regulations to provide access to this information. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.

    Cookies from third parties

    In the event that third party software solutions use cookies, this is stated in this privacy statement.

    Changes in privacy policy

    We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time. However, you will always find the most recent version on this page. If the new privacy policy affects the way in which we process data already collected about you, we will notify you by e-mail.
